The Mad is behind us

“Good morning, my students!” I said to all of my students in room C who joined with me at 10.00am.
“Good morning, my students!” someone repeated my greeting.
“Good morning my teacher!” my student answered me afraid. Then, I continued.
            “How are you this morning?”
“How are you this morning?” someone imitated me. Spontaneously, I was shocked because my students just silent and I heard stranger voice. I thought this was not my students’ voice. I saw the person who said it. Wow, it was amazing! Did you know, he was not my student? He wore old dark blue trouser and old white under shirt. He had curly hair but I thought he never comb his hair. He brought a book and a black pen. He was busy with his self while wrote something in his book. Yeah, he was not my student. I was really serious 100%.  Oh goodness! What should I do? I didn’t want he hurt my students. I must search helping.
“Well, I’ll go to the office for a moment. Wait me, ok!” I said to them. I tried to comport like usually. I hid my scare. I saw my students just nod their head. Then, I went to the office to ask helping. I needed someone to bring out the man who sat in back row of my class. I saw Sister Yud there.
“Sis, there is mad person in my class. He has sat in back row. Then, what should I do? Help me, please!” I said afraid.
“Are you serious?” she asked me. Maybe she didn’t believe.
            “Yes.” I answered seriously.
“Ok, I’ll go to your class.” She said while walked to my class. I followed her. Then, I heard she said something to my students.
“Good morning my students!” said Sister Yud
“Good morning my students!” someone who sat in the back row imitated. My students were just silent. I thought they were still afraid. Did you know, they were still elementary school? I thought they combined of grade four until six. My class “Pre-Elementary A” in Society International English Course (SIEC) consisted of 19 students and started at 10.00am. I saw Nabilla, one of my students was very shocked. She was the youngest in this class. She was nine years old and still grade four.
“How are you this morning?” she continued her greeting.
“How are you this morning?” he imitated it.
“Hmmm, I think he is really mad.” Sister Yud whispered to me.
            “Yeah, I think.” I answered.
“Wait, I’ll search helping.” Sister Yud whispered again to me.
            “Ok!”
Sister Yud went to SIEC 5. It was next to SIEC 3. Then, I continued it. I thought it was impossible for me to leave my students.
“Ok, I’ll repeat my greeting. Good morning my students!” I said while handle my nervous. I knew that I was wasting time to say it. But, I didn’t know what I must do.
“Good morning my students!” he repeated.
“Hmmm, if someone said good morning then what is the answer?” I asked to them.
“Hmmm, if someone said good morning then what is the answer?” he still imitated my words.
            After he repeated me, suddenly Sister Yud and an old man came to my class. The old man brought the mad person got out from my class and said;
            “I am sorry, don’t disturb them. They’ll study. “
“But I want to study also.”  He answered.
“Ok, that’s good. But, let them study here. We’ll study outside.”

“Hmmm, don’t be panic, okay! He wanted to study with us. He brought book and pen also, right? Well, the mad person has spirit to study and I hope all of you have more spirit than him. Yes, I believe it. So, please continue your study.” Said Sister Yud while gave a little motivation.
            “Ok, thank you Sister Yud!”
“Well, I’ll go to the office. See you all!”
“Bye…” I answered and followed by my students.
***
“Are you afraid?” I tried to open the conversation.
            “Yes, Miss.” They answered together.
“Yes, actually I’m also afraid. By the way, did he hurt one of you?” I asked.
“No, Miss. He gave me money but I didn’t receive.” Arif answered.
            “So, is he angry?”
“No, Miss. He just smiled to me.” continued him.
“Ok, as a student we must have a spirit and study hard. I think you have seen the mad. He brought book and pen and he wanted to study. I think you have more spirit than the mad, right?”
            “Yes, Miss.” answered them.
“Well, let’s continue our study!” then, I continued to teach them.
